Turn of the century anything is interesting to us here, but especially interesting are industrial equipment and farming tools.
We recently found a pair of Studebaker US 6 on the Oregon Coast, and in the same barn was this gem here.
It is so totally complete and functional, a person could use it to thresh their wheat fields today. It even still retains the rubber coating to the steel wheels- this is the only one that I have seen in this exceptional condition. Hats off to the folks that took such good care of it.
The original woodwork inside is in beautiful, intact condition, with being kept in a warm, dry storage for as long as this one was.
We will be hauling this one home January 2017.
THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE IS ALREADY IN A PRIVATE COLLECTION-
If you are interested in having us find you a nice restored, or restorable example, we are glad to help in all stages of the process.
