1961 BORGWARD 2000 Box body

This is a low mileage Borgward, which was Germany’s contribution to the motor pool for the UN Peacekeeping forces. It survived well, and was brought to the US by a former Navy machinist. Unfortunately, he decided to live a life of drinking and immersing himself in home- built machines, and fortunately stayed away from tinkering on this truck. With that said, it remains original, although there is a bit of corrosion on the box body. Nothing major, and rust remediation and repair is one of our specialties.

This truck is now in a local collector’s shop, being prepared for use as of 2020-

If you are interested in having us find you a nice restored, or restorable example, we are glad to help in all stages of the process.
